BTM has been a household name in the field of automated processing in the
horticultural sector (including greenhouse horticulture) for many years. We have an extensive range of machinery, from user-friendly standard lines to fully automated sorting and bunching systems. BTM also develops and creates BTM customer-specific solutions for harvesting, sorting and processing flowers.

History
The history of BTM starts in 1978 at SMITS Machinefabriek. The founder, Theo Smits, developed and manufactured flower processing machines, among other things.
In 1991, these activities continued under the name BTM, however, the focus soon shifted to 100% flower processing machines. This has resulted in the continuous improvement and optimisation of the existing machines and the development of innovative solutions for flower processing.
Since 2004, CB Service has carried out the service and maintenance of BTM systems. By placing the focus on after sales service and through intensive cooperation with our partners, we ensure that our customers receive the best possible support.
In July 2018, Johan Cuijpers, founder/owner of CB Service, took over all BTM’s business activities. This takeover has guaranteed the continuity of the supply of new systems and projects, supported by reliable customer support and service. This offers growth opportunities for BTM within the international horticulture sector.
